Rascal Flatts Has $2,000 Guitar Stolen and Then Forgives Teens That Stole It

Two trouble making teenagers in Oregon better thank their lucky stars that the guys from Rascal Flatts are men with forgiveness in their hearts.

The band is requesting that no charges be filed against the thieving kids who allegedly stole a $2,000 custom made guitar from the band during the Willamette Country Music Festival on Friday night.

A 19 year old male and his 17 year old counterpart were identified as suspects. It would appear that the band is calling ‘no harm, no foul’ in the incident after the 19 year old male met with Junction City police on Sunday shortly after the festival.

A Lind County Sheriff’s Office detective then recovered the guitar, which appeared to be undamaged, and the instrument was returned to its rightful owners.

It was reported that the two teenagers both cooperated fully with the authorities during their interview.

Whether it was teenagers cooperation, their returning of the property, or just sympathy in the bands hearts for a couple of reckless kids, the band members of Rascal Flatts insisted that charges not be filed against the two young individuals.
